MOGA

Mfantsiman Old Girls' Association (MOGA) is the alumni body of the school, encompassing over 50,000 members.  It was established in the 1970s and now has a number of local and international chapters, all focused on giving back their due to the school that in more ways than one shaped their lives into the great women they are today.  MOGA is a not-for-profit organisation, therefore, all funds raised are channelled towards projects at the alma mater.   An overview of the structure of the Association and the full details of the Articles of Association are spelt out in its Constitution.

Eligibility Criteria
The Association is open to any former student of the school who is above 18 years of age and of sound mind.

Governing Body
MOGA is governed by a 11-member Executive who are elected by ballot every two years. The Executive, as much as possible should be made up of a representation of the 10 regions, and across the board regarding year groups.

Elections
Executive elections are held every two (2) years at a General Assembly.  Executives may be re-elected for a second term, but only up to maximum term of four (4) years in total.  All fully-paid up (dues) members are encouraged to vie for these positions and offer their services to help their alma mater.
